Daniel Robert Hayes, 68, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018, at the University of Colorado Hospital.He was the husband of Sandi (Droppers) Hayes and they shared 47 years together.
She was instrumental in opening the Faith Legion Community Hall.
In July 2017 Gladys moved in to Prestige Assisted Living. They lived a short time in East Hartford then moved to South Windsor, CT, and finally settled in Glastonbury, CT, where they raised their family. Evelyn passed away June 25, 2011, one day before their 65th anniversary. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Gladys is survived by her daughter, Marilynn Aasheim, Kalispell, MT; son, Carl Sr., (Judy) Peterson of Rapid City; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Peterson, Jonesborough, TN; grandchildren, Lois (Terry) Heckman, Loveland, CO, Lester Jr. He has been a member of Local Union #478 of the Union of Operating Engineers since 1949 where he worked as a Crane Operator until retirement. Edward, 89, Box Elder, died Friday, May 18, 2018, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
In 1909, Ollie and Winnie each homesteaded claims on land now part of the Stomprud Ranch headquartered about eight miles southeast of Mud Butte, SD.
Calvin attended Squaw Butte School for grades 1-8, a horseback ride of about three and a half miles.

Danny started his career in EMS in 1971 and graduated from South West Oklahoma City Community College with a Masters in EMS Training.
